What the SCUBA SIG does for you:

    1. Suggest a time and place for diving.
    2. Facilitate communications to help you find a roommate and discuss this trip (or any other).
    3. Provide updates on the SCUBA SIG Announcements Email List: http://lists.us.mensa.org/mailman/listinfo/scubasig-announce

What the SCUBA SIG doesn't do for you:

    1. Make any reservations.
    2. Handle any money.
    3. Accept any liability for your health, wealth, or personal happiness in life.

What the Club Med SIG does:

You'll have to ask them. Just go to: http://www.mensaclubmed.org/

What you need to do for yourself:

    1. Decide when and where you want to go: half week or full week? or two full weeks! Cozumel and/or Cancun? Life is full of difficult decisions.
    2. Book your airfare. It rarely gets as cheap as it is now. Into Cozumel (CZM) and out of Cancun (CUN) usually costs no more than round-trip. (S)he who hesitates - pays more!
    3. Find your roomie - use the SCUBA SIG Discussion List or email Ann at DiveBuddy@us.mensa.org.
    4. Book your hotel, diving, lessons, and gear rental.
    5. Sign up now for that refresher course at home or the one in Cozumel Saturday afternoon.
    6. Don't forget your passport and SCUBA certification card.

Rules:

    1. You must be certified to dive with the SCUBA SIG. If you are not certified, you can take lessons at the dive shop at the hotel but will be under the direct supervision of an instructor. If you forget your SCUBA certification card you are not certified.
    2. You must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
    3. Non-members of Mensa should be accompanied by a member.
    4. You will have to sign liability waivers before diving.

If you are booking the Fiesta Americana and Dive House with Island Dreams, please send the information below by mail, email, fax, or phone to:

The original boat’s propeller broke, so all 21 divers had to fit on this boat. We won't list all the names here, it would be too confusing. You've already seen them in the above photos, or will see them below. SCUBA SIG
