Scholarship Contest Deadline Approaching!

The Mensa Education and Research Foundation scholarship essay contest is going on now. Awards are available to all students who will be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of post-secondary education in 2008 and who reside in the GCM area. Applicants need not be American Mensa members and awards range from $400 to $1000. The online application is available at http://www.us.mensa.org/am/uploads/ScholarshipForms/770.pdf.

There is a separate Mensa Member Award of $1000 available for American Mensa members and their IRS dependents. The application for this award is at http://www.us.mensa.org/am/uploads/ScholarshipForms/member.pdf.

The deadline for submitting essays for any of these awards is January 15, 2008.
