Now that the new board and the new website have taken flight, we need a new bird, not the same old owl but a wise and unique one that represents the Gulf Coast Chapter. Your Assistant Local Secretary would like to announce a LOGO CONTEST...
"We are looking for all of your creative M’s to put your artistic skills into action and incorporate the mascot of Mensa (the owl) and your impression of what the Gulf Coast means to you!"
The Rules:
- Entries must be in by the March 3rd board meeting, the board will narrow the field down to the top 4 entries. Those entries will be posted to the new website and the members will vote for the top one, as we want you to know that this is your mention. Voting will run until the April board meeting and the top three will be announced!
- Entries must be unique and not copied from clipart, stock art or other media. Original designs can be photo, comic, line art or any other graphic form. Any use of copyrighted material will be rejected.
- Remember this is intended to be a logo that will be used in our newsletter, media and advertising; many people will be exposed to your wining artwork!
- Send entries to dale.liu@gmail.com with the subject line GC Logo Contest. One entry per e-mail and include your active member number with the submission for verification of GC Mensa membership. There is no limit to the number of entries per-person but limit it to 1 (one) per e-mail please.
- Recognition awards of a certificate suitable for framing from the board will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
- So let us keep the New Year theme going and create some fantastic designs! We look forward to your efforts!
